Forgotten bait shop!

Recommended Posts

CurtisYaright

I don't know if this is allowed,  but we just stopped at Frosty's Baits in Shabaqua. Great bait, spring water is super cold and the bait looks really good. I totally forgot about this little place.

Just had to give a shout out to a great little Shop.

New owners too!

Just checked the sign while picking up minnows.

Fall hours!

7-7 Sun, Wed

7-9 Thurs, Fri, Sat.

Closed Mondays, Tuesdays.

The new owner said he will stay open as Long as he can. The old shop was never winterized.

Call past thanksgiving to check for being open.

Thanks for the info Curtis, that's great to know.

We usually have bait ahead of time heading out, but sometimes things can happen to the bait and you need some more fast in the morning you are heading out.

There is another  new shop just 5 miles west of Frosty's on the same side of the road. It's called Girls Got Minnows. They have it all also worms, minnows, and leeches. Their number is 807-356-1453. One of the girls will be making tackle by next summer and possibly making a few rods to sell in the shop. They are nice girls and you may want to give them a try also. I used them a lot this year and their minnows lasted a longtime.

Their email is: girlsgotminnow@gmail.com

Hey Bernie, are they on the main highway or the Shebandowan Highway?
