I've never been into Nalla Lake.  How do you get in?

There are two trails.  One at East Loon and the other at West Loon.  I haven't been down the west Loon trail yet this year, but it is usually groomed.

To get to the West Trail Follow 11/17 east approx. 43 km to West Loon Lake Rd. Turn left and drive 3.8 km to the nw side of Loon Lake. Turn left onto the trail and follow for 3 km to Nalla Lake.

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming - WOW - what a ride!!!

hunt or be hunted

The narrow style ones close to the wheel base of a atv no problem but the newer ones u may have some struggle at a couple spots , the small creek bridge u cross on west loon trail is only as wide as a sled and their some tight spots with big trees, the east trail might be ur better bet but pretty hilly and steep in places, it's an adventure all on its own on quad in summer time, u can chance it, bring a chain saw and worst case u would make it as close as within 1km on the west trail then go by foot, and no one mentioned it on here if u take west lion trail stay right on the fork after the bridge, east loon trail stay left on trail at the fork !
