Buck 120 32 Report post Posted December 12, 2007 I had this emailed to me, don't know if it is true or not. If it is it is one helluva Buck. This is what the email said: "Trevor Evans from Bluffton. He shot this near Two Hills this fall (winter). Biggest typical whitetail take in Alberta EVER! He will be on the cover of Buck magazine very soon. Don't know the score but it would be unbelievable. He has been offered $200,000.00 for it already. " Quote Not just a 3 month season but a 12 month obsession!!!
Guest Dan Report post Posted December 12, 2007 He's holding up that massive head and rack, unbalanced, with an extended arm and one finger? Hmmmm...
Bear 77 Report post Posted December 12, 2007 I agree with Dan, not only that my experience in hunting in Alberta for the 7 years I lived there was to usually see whitetails in the bush, not on the open prairie. If that was a mule deer, it would better fit the picture. Whitetails do grow that big in Alberta, as well as muleies. Bear
Guest TerryK Report post Posted December 12, 2007 He's holding up that massive head and rack, unbalanced, with an extended arm and one finger? Hmmmm... I was thinking the same thing but from what I can see on various forums (there was a huge uproar about that picture) the deer was frozen when the pictures were taken. Still a lot of doubt out there however. Here's a few more:
