Bobber Down 921 Report post Posted November 21, 2018 Good news indeed! The rise of an abundant predator like cormorants can, in fact, substantially reduce fish populations like Walleye and Perch. The feces are so acidic that nesting trees usually die within about three years. Quote Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming - WOW - what a ride!!! Foozer 194 Report post Posted November 21, 2018 It's only a proposal for now. If you support an "open season" for cormorants, take a couple minutes to submit your comments at the link below. https://ero.ontario.ca/notice/013-4124 Quote Since we can not call female anglers "fisherman" We should just call 'em hookers..... brookiebuster 117 Report post Posted November 24, 2018 I've seen a few natural brook trout lakes decimated by these things. Got my vote 100%. Quote "Whack em' and stack em',kill em' and grill em'" Ted Nugent
Nnev 70 Report post Posted November 26, 2018 Anybody know what they taste like?
fishman1 164 Report post Posted November 26, 2018 They taste like bald eagle. On another note, the tree huggers are trying their da nest to save these wonderful birds! My vote for open season!
