McVicars had some activity today. Bunch of guys looking and trying their luck close to the big lake. Water is getting clear. One pic is looking west along the walking trail between Bruce St and Madeline St.

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming - WOW - what a ride!!!

what do you mean "as high up as the Mac"? Like past the dam at LU or higher?

Oh........that would be the low end. I'm sure there are some in there. I know lots of ppl are fishing there now but have no data on catch rate.

Cloud River is virtually ALL private property. It does get a run, but the fishable water is posted private. Caught one in the pool below the highway once years ago.

Anyone hit up mcvickers today yet? I'll be going when the wife gets off work. Was kinda thinking with the rain 2 days ago and the warm weather , it may produce some fish today.

Was there for a bit yesterday.  No one else was around didn't catch anything.  Walked from court down to the mouth and back.

I drove around to basically all the rivers intown yesterday and didn’t see much action happening but what I did see more garbage in/on the banks of the rivers than ever. It’s so sad to see we have such a healthy beautiful run of fish up the middle of our city and some people ruin it by just simply being discusting. Worst part about it, most of these rivers have garbage cans somewhere along the river. I did what I could yesterday, but some spots it’s just too much...Take care of our rivers, because they sure take care of us.
