rceme74 20 Report post Posted July 11, 2019 I have found that most the COs are pretty good people for giving one a break on minor infractions. They have a job to do, like everyone else. We all have access to the rules for safety equipment required. No excuses for not having the stuff on board. Wearing life jackets all the time goes a long way with the COs' weather you get a break or not. Everyone in my boat has a life jacket on and secured properly. My grandkids are amazing, they have their jackets on and secured before we pull away from the dock. they even helped each other to make sure the straps on correctly. Several comments from onlookers were very complimentary for their attention to details. So lets help the COs' do their jobs, by doing are job as boaters and fishermen and even hunters.
