RickS 19 Report post Posted January 27, 2022 In reading through the revisions I noticed that anglers are not supposed to have more than 120 leeches or 120 minnows in their possession. I was aware that I had to purchase my leeches in Ontario and that I should keep the receipt as proof, but I did not know of this limitation and that I might be in violation if I purchase a pound of leeches before heading up for a week at a remote outpost. Seems like a change that allows for possession for personal use of larger quantities of leeches might be appropriate.

Good luck on that one. Any changes will most likely be lower quantities or none at all. Rules and regs only get tougher. If you are buying a pound of leeches you probably are fishing with at least one other person, if not more. Between everyone in your group you will be ok for number of leeches
