oyo 127 Report post Posted May 10, 2022 They put out on an advisory on the US side of the lake. What are the chances our fishery is cleaner than theirs vs the chance MNR is spread too thin to take smelt samples.
BigFisher92 1 Report post Posted May 10, 2022 I believe it's a risk advisory for lake superior. I don't think the fish understand they shouldn't cross the border. I'd assume it's been spread far and wide as these little f***ers multiply so fast.. and I'd assume the babies would be born with the illnesses the parents had. Who knows. I'm taking the kid down to the river this weekend to try, if no one updates by then, i will.
Bobber Down 921 Report post Posted May 10, 2022 Little ones will need lifejackets on. Water is Muddy, Cold, High and Fast Quote Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming - WOW - what a ride!!! Nicky 0 Report post Posted May 13, 2022 I'm struggling to believe that a 2 inch long fish can navigate the rivers right now. Is the run legit on?
Anthony Coccimiglio 6 Report post Posted May 14, 2022 Scooped a pale at Current River Thursday night. From 10:30-12:00 there was very little action, then after 12:00 we were getting about 50 a scoop on average. Everything that we scooped was very in tight to shore, they were staying out of the heavy currents.
