Recently had luck with a laker at Oliver. Now going to try somewhere else. Also heard of some big Wally in hawkeye too. Any info would be appreciated. Big Guy 116 Report post Posted February 4, 2023 Fishing can be hit or miss. I have a camp on Hawkeye, i have personally caught walleye over 8 pounds but they are few and far between. Fishing changes completely year to year. Some years it's limits every time I'm out, the next year not a damn walleye to be had.
