Found this gem in a collection of old fishing files I had. Pretty sure I found it here a number of years ago, but thought I'd throw it back up for people to enjoy.

I like this regulation:

50 Brook trout only may be caught in one day by one person.

 

When I was younger, 40 something years ago, it was 14.

15 or 10 lbs plus one fish when I was a kid 50 years ago. Never kept 15 but used to pull at least that many out of the North branch of the Current River

Used to catch 15 small ones every spring up where the expressway cross's McVicar creek.  Had to watch out for the old guy that had a old shack there. He did not like kids. LOL
