Neil 2 Report post Posted May 22, 2023 Has anyone been down Boreal road towards Batwing Lake? Was curious how the road was.

Neil 2 Report post Posted May 22, 2023 Hard to believe you could wipe a lake out in one season. How about Hoof, Swallow, Greenwater, McGrath? Easy to get to and worth my while?
Fishog 215 Report post Posted May 22, 2023 To many lakes up there to be fished out. Batwing might have had more activity but was never a big producer with all the camps on the lake. Nelson lake was way to far for anyone to sled into during the winter. Lots of good sized walleye but its starting to get taken over by bass. Lots of smaller lakes that only get fished by anglers who take the time to get into them. Hoof is to far off the beaten path for fishing in the winter but swallow might have got hit hard as its right at the main road. Last 15 years only small ones coming out of that lake as it gets hit hard during the summer months.
Neil 2 Report post Posted May 24, 2023 I'd really like to find a deep lake for good lake trout fishing.
