The2rodguy 4 Report post Posted September 10, 2023 Hi everyone. Yesterday my cousin and I tried to get into Poshkokagan. Didn’t make it in because it required a quad. Obviously in a snowmobile you wouldn’t have a problem. We went on trojek rd. so we ended up going to another lake. Is that the only way into the lake? Or is there another way in that is truck friendly? We seen some quad tracks going in. Thanks

speckmaster 114 Report post Posted September 10, 2023 You have to go a little further up 527, but I think you still may need a quad or small truck with some clearance
brookiebuster 117 Report post Posted September 11, 2023 Years ago I drove right to the lake, not sure how trail conditions are now. Quote "Whack em' and stack em',kill em' and grill em'" Ted Nugent
Kory 8 Report post Posted September 12, 2023 Yea you can drive your truck to the lake. Lots of big rocks in the road. Go slow and pick your path wisely. I’ve gone it with a half ton. Caught lots of walleye and seen lots of pelicans
grs 11 Report post Posted September 12, 2023 The road is VERY grown in. If you don't mind scratches on your truck you'll make it no problem but you're pushing through the bush for well over 50% of the way. I went in with my 2500 last year. Made it to the lake ok but came out with one less running board. You do need ground clearance for the last couple hundred metres. Even with that, pay attention so you don't hit a huge boulder like I did.
