Trolling for Walleye - Draggin The Line

Recommended Posts

Bobber Down

Just a reminder to loosen the drag on your reels if you've put them up for the season. If you leave the drag tightened, the drag washers are compressed and you could end up with a jerky or ineffective drag. Reduced pressure on the drag washers helps them last longer in better condition. Here's one for the trollers that enjoy draggin the line. Enjoy.

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming - WOW - what a ride!!!

Good PSA Doug. Still haven't hung up the rods but after all the easy action from the pink salmon season, I've been skunked most times I head out lately. At least it looks like a rainy week ahead. I can't believe how low the water is around the Kam.

It looks like OPG were not releasing much water from the dams. Bare minimum I suppose. They are now going to release more going forward.
