Netting whitefish soon.

I took my bicycle down to the usual haunts of Hallowe'en whitefish,  and haven't seen anything yet.

I think 5 days .

Hey - I’m also wondering if anyone has seen any whitefish coming in yet.

Cheers

I think 4 days,  now.  Given that yesterday was a day ago.

For thunder bay area,  i mean.

Checked tonight. The water, and rocks and air seem almost ready.

Likewise!

Whitefish still running strong.

Also,  having trouble signing into the site for security reasons.  I don't think I'm alone on this.

Interested in trying to net some whitefish at silver harbour would I go off the front of the little break wall or along the rocks in front of the parking lot? How long of a net would I need?

Kid went to MacKenzie  River and did a lot better then silver harbor. More like smelt fishing there.

Any calm day for the next few days you should have luck.

I have a telescopic *fiskars* brand tree pruning cheap fiberglass doohicky that my wee net bolts into.

Getting 8 to 10 feet below with dry feet is easy, if you're into greasy 5 pounders.

Staying in the shallows for younger meatier 2-3 pounders is my favourite.  Healthier fish, healthier me.

Google Chrome is the only web browser that will not allow me to sign in. Kind of strange that Firefox and Opera work perfectly.

Update: I had to reset Google chrome to default settings and I now can log in using Chrome.
