Guest Wes Report post Posted March 10, 2008 So I was in Duluth climbing yesturday. And as most of us know a trip to Duluth is not complete without a trip to Gander Mountain. I am very proud at my will power to NOT blow my entire wad in there. So many needs and wants yet I escaped with a recipe showing only $94.64. Mainly the reason being the prices are similar to some prices locally, even with our strong paso, so I would rather buy here. Holy deer on the highway Batman! we nearly clipped a few. We had to slam on the binders and nearly hit the rubarb a few times. Well over 150 animals. Funny thing, the quarry where I was climbing had a few dead deer at the bottom. I guess they get a little too close to the edge and fall off. haha They were pretty mangled. Give me a new appreciation for the ropes/gear I use most of the time. Bear 77 Report post Posted March 10, 2008 I too was at Gander Mountain on Saturday, seems to be not too many people working in their fishing section, I had to wander around myself to find what I was looking for and they dont have it, even though their catalogue says they stock it. Frustrating. I did however pick up bags of my favorite colours of tubes for $4.97 / 100. Loaded up on those, but that was the extent of my purchases.
