Friday’s report was that the approximate 18” of ice and access at the landing were in good shape. That was our experience too. Ice was tight to the shoreline and around the islands we fished. What wasn’t safe were the turds tearing down the ice road, pulling donuts in trucks, and fishtailing out from MacKay Bay toward Sand Point. Too bad they felt they had to close the gates to everyone.
