There's a bunch of folk songs that sing this in French. 

 

It's French for what in the heck. 

 

With a bunch more words. Calvert and I could go on.  I would love to see more Finn and Italian and Indigenous expressions related to fishing on this site.  I bet there's a bunch. 

 

It means... what the heck!

 

What's going on,  with fish!?

 

Maybe I'll ask in another question.  But while I would never ask anyone to reveal their favourite fishing holes,  maybe it would be nice to hear favourite fishing minor cusses. 🤔
