Recommended Posts

Hello folks,

right now, I am the newest member of this board. I am also new in Thunder Bay. I could not find any information about offshore fishing in Thunder Bay or/and in the surrounding area. Not everyone has a boat or can afford one. I am sure there are lots of lakes and rivers out there where one get a fair size fish fishing offshore :D:D ... The problem is: I do not know where!! So please, give me and all the new user (w/o a boat) of this site some tips on where to fish good fish offshore, in Thunder Bay and the surrounding area. The nice weather is coming and I do not wanna rely only on friends with boat to have fun. What to do when they are not in mood...All summer long :(

Shore spot for walleye on the Kam River- Try headin up the 11/17 to Sunshine just north of Kakabeka to just past Hwy 102 intersection...try below train bridge on east side of highway for walleye. Or you can try below the big falls in Kakabeka.

I wanna thank Jay for his advise and Anonymus for proposing to take me to some hot shore fishing spots around the city. Once I know more, I will let you know.
