Guest Wes Report post Posted June 2, 2008 So after the Saturday clean up I went home to get my wife and we went for a little hike. I can only afford to go fish once per week now with gas prices the way they are. Anyway I digress... I thought I would bring the camera since I haven't had any time for photography since the steelhead run started. Here are a few of my favourite shots from yesturday I though you might enjoy. An now for the Fantastic Find part of the day. Untill yesterday I had no idea where to find Fiddleheads. Well we came upon the mother load. And apperently you have to be there at the right time because they grow quickly and will open up. So I picked a few pounds and had them for dinner with some mashed taters and fresh lake trout caught today. WOW! those things are tasty. I wonder if they would freeze OK? I am going to pick more tomorrow and see if they will keep in the freezer.

Guest Hookset Report post Posted June 2, 2008 Nice pics, Black stone fly with a little purple dub works well in that river. I never ate fiddle heads before, see them all the time along that river.
