Chronicle-Journal writers took all three awards in the Newpaper Feature catagory at this years Outdoor Writers of Canada Awards, which were presented at the organization's annual convention last month.

John Kaplanis got first place for his story "Tracking the Wolf". He also won second place for "Bears at Eye Level".

Gord Ellis came third for his story, "On the Trail of Wild Mushrooms". He also won in the Magazine Column catagory, taking first place with his story "Trout in Turmoil", published in Ontario Out of Doors magazine, and came second in the Brock McRitchie Writing Award catagory for "A Great Day Afield", published in the Chronicle-Journal.

Congratulations to these two gentlemen.
