40 hour project

The floor in the boat was rotten, the foam was water logged. The old wood and foam must have weighed 500lbs. Test-drove the boat last night well over 40mph top speed, top speed before the retrofit was 28mph.

Hi Grumpy: Did you get a picture of the finished product yet? How many cans of spray foam did it take? My boat is going to need some floor repair and was thinking fof the vinyl deck stuff they sell at Home Depot.

I did the vinyl deck stuff. Sean Kohanski at Thunder Bay Insulations did the sprey foam job for me. Still working on taking the final picture. The boat preforms great.
