Some Old Guy 968 Report post Posted September 16, 2008 I see it now. I had to fix the uploads path. Can anyone see the picture now? Roger Quote R.T.R. Respect the resource!
Guest Hoistanen Report post Posted September 16, 2008 Same thing happened to me in the showdown. I would have had close to 20lbs, but they were all buckets. Guess the smallies don't like the white rat. Something to think about for the rules. That way I will actually target them as I am primarily a Largemouth fisherman. NWO Fishing Bum 2 Report post Posted September 16, 2008 Yes, I see it, and I'm not overly surprised. NWO Fishing Bum
Cheech 2 Report post Posted September 16, 2008 Yup. See it now. Largemouth in Shebandowan?
NWO 23 Report post Posted September 16, 2008 Some details of the pic are needed. Who, when, what region of the lake it was caught. A piece of defining shoreline would have been nice to see as well.....but this photo is pretty tightly cropped for some reason.
Guest Run N Gun Report post Posted September 16, 2008 I too heard that they were "introduced" to the lake just never found any yet....... Hoistanen - a 20lbs. bag during the SSS would that have been for 5 Largies or more?
Guest Hoistanen Report post Posted September 16, 2008 Sorry to get you caught up in this RNG. That post was a little inside joke between myself and NWO. We have no clue how to catch largemouth, yet somehow on two occasions we have brought in decent bags of them in Bassin for Bucks-hence the "primarily largemouth fisherman" comment. I have not caught any Largies in Sheb, I don't use a white rat, and I will not target them even if the rules change there - for now.

But a big bag for sure.....afterall, he is primarily a largemouth fisherman.
Guest Run N Gun Report post Posted September 16, 2008 Ahh...... it's all making a little more sense now that I know who you are. I guess I would stop using the White Rat in the Floods as well.
Trevor Zimak 171 Report post Posted September 16, 2008 The fish was caught in the upper lake last week by some Americans. As you can see they took a picture and they said they released it. I too have caught ONE largemouth in Shebandowan. I caught it in 2003 and it was 14.5 inches, 1.7lbs, and caught in the exact same general area. This fish looks to be about 3lbs... poissibly the same one 5 years later. I took a picture of mine to show my friends, but have no clue what I did with it. If I have known about this site I would have posted the pic then. Not sure if it was even opperational.
