Pike eye infection?

I caught a pike the other day, and it looked as though he had a little green marble in his eye? anyone ever see anything like this?

i have caught quite a few when the eyes look cloudy, almost as if the fish has cataracts, but that has colour to it. Perhaps a result of the pike 'eye grip' I have seen performed?
