Buck 120 32 Report post Posted February 19, 2010 Hi, I wonder if you can tell me if there have been a lot of calls about cougar sightings in the rural areas of the city. Does the MNR investigate the sightings? If not why are they not investigated, track impressions, trail cameras set up, etc. I know two different people on Alice avenue that have spotted a cougar in the past two months. One was today at lunch time. Another person I know saw a cougar in their yard on Broadway avenue last night. The description is unmistakably a cougar. Cougar face, typical long tail curved horizontal at the ground. What is the downside or detriment of the MNR acknowledging cougars exist here?
