gsambray 172 Report post Posted February 17, 2011 i was wondering due to the fact taht loch lomond isnt a drinking water source anymore, are you allowed to fish the lake? i have seen people windboarding and snowmobiling but i figure it would be best to inquire before venturing out and getting charged. I have haerd that there is a good amount of fish in there and the sizes were known to be bigger too. hopefully it is legal but its always best to know for sure Thanks
Guest MNR Report post Posted February 18, 2011 Loch Lomond is completely surrounded by private land and Federal Reserve (Fort William First Nation) and therefore access would have to be with the land owners’ permission. MNR has not imposed any special fishing regulations for this lake. You should talk to the city’s water department about travel restrictions in the watershed.
