Slow Cooker Moose Roast

Recommended Posts

beercan

One Moose Roast (big one)

Add some ketchup...about 1/2 cup

Red Wine (as much as you want to give up for the roast...drink the rest)

Beer (same as above)

Can of Coke (not diet)

One tablespoon of Pickling Spice

A couple of tablespoons of Brown Sugar

Some Cayenne Pepper...to taste (or any kind of hot pepper)

One large onion - diced

One large green pepper - diced

One large red pepper - diced

One large tomato - diced

Fresh Garlic - pressed or diced (one or two cloves)

Lots of Worcestershire Sauce

Throw everything into the slow cooker and cook on high setting for at least 4-5 hours - take out the roast and cut into small pieces and put back into cooker

Cook on low setting for another 2 - 3 hours or until meat can be shredded

When done, shred the meat, mix well...serve on warm, toasted buns with hot mustard.

Cold Beer

I freeze this and bring out fishing...just heat and serve
