Trapnarrows Lake is located in Fishing Zone 7 and has a remote tourism camp on it. Since it is a remote tourism lake, it does have some access and travel restrictions. The following map details the location of various signs posted in the area. The description of two signs below indicates what the exact wording is on each sign that pertains to Trapnarrows Lake:

Sign NI-NE-0-16: Unattended boats are not permitted within 500m of Trapnarrows Lake or the last set of rapids on Namewaminikan (Sturgeon) River flowing into Trapnarrows Lake

Sign NI-NE-0-29: Unauthorized access to Trapnarrows Lake through the use of this road system and boat caching within 500 m of Trapnarrows Lake is prohibited.
