Guest Big Moose Report post Posted May 1, 2007 In my opinion these critters are becoming more of a problem than the bears in the Thunder Bay area,it seems you can't drive for 15 minutes without seeing a min.of ten or twelve of them,Something has to be done about them although the local body shops may not think so. Guest Mossy Report post Posted May 1, 2007 I saw a deer right behind Wal-Mart the other day, I couldn't believe it. The problem is they are within city limits and I doubt the city will ever allow hunters within its limits. Hunters could easily and safely use bows to limit the population within the city. There has been a huge population in the Keefer Terminal/Walmart area for as long as I can remember. I see no problem with these urban deer. If they are getting in your garden and whatnot they are easy to discourage.
