where there is no open season for deer, bear etc. such as jan -march, a rifle of .275 or smaller is legal correct? eg a 243 is legal am i right?

Practice CPS, catch , photo, stringer.

You are correct. See the question and answer for "wolf calibre" 4 questions prior to this one. A .243 would be a good calibre to use for wolf.
