Sturgeon population numbers

Does anyone know where/if I could find some data on lake sturgeon populations in our area or in specific rivers around here? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Historical data would be awesome though not essential. Thanks to anyone who replies.

You may want to contact MNR Biologist Mike Friday. I know he was involved in a few Sturgeon telemetry studies.
