Yes! Go Zimak and Leroux!!!! Leroux had a great head of steam on day two of the S.S.S. Slap it all together and you have a powerhouse team!

17th is certainly respectable in that field, but one has to wonder if mechanical problems led to the 9.7lbs bag today...? Today had to be very disappointing for sure given that they were well positioned this morning at take-off. Well done regardless!!!

Hey Guys...Thanks for the support. No mechanical problems to blame for day three. Really, we don't know what happened. We had two large separate areas that were holding good numbers of 3lb+ fish. At the end of day two we left our primary spot watching numbers fish feeding and chasing our baits. We decided to leave them alone and save them for day three as they were no bigger than the fish we already had in the livewell. We returned day three several times throughout the day only to have a couple followers show themselves. Our secondary spot didn't produce a bite after several hours. By 2:30pm we had one 2 pounder in the box and time was running out. We decided to abandon the pattern that got us this far and chose to fish memories looking for quick fish on small specific spots. We boated our fifth fish 20 minutes before weigh in. We'll try again next year.
