35ish boats are in so far and is going to fill up fast! Tournaments in only 6 weeks! The launch is going to be fixed up before the derby this year also for those wondering.

last year was good . take off and weigh in went quick, launch was quick since people were launching both sides of ramp.

When I speak of launch improvements I'm referring to the launch ramp. Loading was congested last year due to many situations of poor launch etiquette. Way too many teams were more interested in checking out the leader board instead of moving their rigs up and away from the turn-around area after they had trailered.

Ya certain individuals who had their trucks on the beach in the way had a bad attitude. My dad wasn't impressed when one female told my him to F-ck off, when he politely asked her to move their truck over so they weren't blocking the ramp area at the weigh-in. Nice way to end a good day on the water eh!

No knock on the organizing committee, they do what they can with a limited turn-around area. It rests with the teams to keep the line a'movin.

i know alot of the bigger rigs last year had a hell of a time getting their boats off by launching beside the pad thats why i mentioned it. I thought last year it actually ran quite smoothly loading up after the derby. The clay boil that was like 1km from the launch is going to be fixed too.

Tenting???? Better bring some extra anchors so the tent isn't blown off the lot with all that snoring and flatulence that is certain to be exuded from the interior after indulging in some fine foods as cold refreshments!

Muzzy and crew; curious. Say the fish have just started to spawn on frazer, (deep lake, could have late ice out). Will we still have the tourney? Pull a hog out full of eggs for the weigh in? Thoughts?

I don't want it to happen, I don't know if it will. But there should be a contingency plan?

Ryan I see you still have that keen eye for spotting quality equipment. Good thing Brett is checking on a few in the Twin Cities area this weekend. Could be a road trip to pick up a Palomino Bronco pop-up next week......

Lyle,

I highly doubt there will be any egg laden females caught. Some might spawn in the lake but they'll be so ripe they'll let them go at the bottom end of the spawn temp scale.
