There are very few deer up the black sturgeon road, in fact I have not seen one and I have frequented that area for hunting and fishing. I'm not sure about the Nipigon area specifically by way of deer however I have seen a fair number of deer up the Wolf Lake Dam road.

I have seen some deer out the frazer lake road also although seldom and they are usually seen within the first 8 km.

Best of luck

Do you have any idea why there are so few deer up black sturgeon? one thing that i have noticed is that there are a ton of moose and maybe they are competing with the deer
