fishingfinn 42 Report post Posted April 20, 2016 Thought I would drag up this thread, always nice to see the updates. How's the ice looking?
Nnev 70 Report post Posted April 21, 2016 I was out saturday in middle shebs. There was a grey patch early afternoon which started consuming the lake as the day drew on. Shores are starting to see a little bit of water. Saw one sled fly by. Not sure of how much ice there is exactly but that's all I can report.
Resource Pimp 60 Report post Posted April 21, 2016 This photo doesn't show much progress, but at a drilled hole in Shelter Bay the ice thickness went from 14 inches on Saturday to 7 inches yesterday. Hard to find places to get on now. 1 Quote "If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles." Click on banner to visit Bedas Lodge. Trevor Zimak 171 Report post Posted April 26, 2016 Any Reports from Shelter Bay?
Resource Pimp 60 Report post Posted April 27, 2016 Not much wind and not really warm, but surprisingly we lost about 50 meters of ice along the shoreline today. No stiff winds in the forcaste so it could take till the weekend for Shelter Bay to be ice free. Resource Pimp 60 Report post Posted April 27, 2016 Came home from town and Shelter Bay is open. Still ice on the rest of lower past the launch. No reason it shouldn't be gone before Sunday. Wolf 2 Report post Posted April 7, 2017 4 hours ago, fishingfinn said: Anything to report with the warm weather? Last Sunday, fishing in lower. Ice quality wasn't as good and solid as fishing other lakes in the area the week prior. Slush on top of ice around shores. Ice is definitely getting softer
Resource Pimp 60 Report post Posted April 7, 2017 Nothing to report. Ice still tight to the shore. Still at least 20 inches of ice when fishing Monday night.
