Crooked pine is north of Eva Lake out the Atikokan Hwy. Haven't been to that lake for over 30 yrs. though, so I do not know how to get to it, maybe through Kawene(probably). It only had walleye in it when I used to fish it.

Is there a place to launch a 14ft boat for flatrock ? I remember it being a small creek to access this lake

Marire Louise Lake is probably one of the more underrated bass lakes around, and a short trip away and you can fish for Largemouth.

Thanks again guys. Sunbow does sound like a good lake to take my daughter to on Sunday. I did well at cheeseman last Saturday. Wish this wind would calm down some.

Two island is a great option. Super easy to fish, take my kids every year, 50 plus bass a day. Not huge fish but lots of fun.

Largies in Lake Marie Louise? Are you talking Sibley Provincial Park?

NO... sorry if I wasn't clear. I am talking Sibley, and Marie Louise Lake has excellent Smallmouth fishing. And nearby are the Largemouth - supposedly.

Hey Wayne, he is referring to Pounsford Lake in SPP.

Beautiful little lake - apparently has LMB in it.

I've fished it - but have not caught one.

Honestly my favorite to take family. Good numbers. Pulled 25 or so off the same dock the other evening with kids .

Dog lake has good bass fishing. Not so great in the rivers but its good in the main lake. All sizes too ive caught some big bass in there. Ive done well for bass by accessing all of the landings on different days so find a landing and explore its a big lake.

Used to always deke into Poundsford Lake to check the moose population. Lake Marie Louise always had big smallies under the old boat dock, let alone the bazillion perch and northerns that are in there.
