tronnyd88 25 Report post Posted March 12, 2016 ive wondered the same thing about walleye me and the girlfriend tried fishing frog portage last weekend for maybe an hour she lost one fish not sure wat it was. but there was only 4" of dark ice under the snow and that was before the warm weather. gsambray 172 Report post Posted March 13, 2016 Was out today. Not much snow lots of cracks ice seemed soft when drilling a few places but seemed good to go for me.
