Bear 77 Report post Posted November 9, 2007 Well its about time. Managed to harvest a real nice size doe this morning behind my house. We had about six inches of wet snow overnite, so they just started moving around 10:00. I shot her on a future roadbed near my place. I was dragging her behind the quad and came over a knoll and a nice 10 point buck, I have been playing hide and seek with all week was standing broadside at about 50 yards, not concerned, just daring me. One deer for the day is enough work, I think I will have a look for him tomorrow morning. I arrived back in my driveway and guess what had walked over my septic field and along the driveway, yep you guessed it, two more does. Glad there are still lots of extra tags, lots of sausage for the old ice shack this winter...... Bear
