I have the Shakespeare Glider Trolling Motor, 36-in, 55-lb from Canadian Tire. Bought it on sale about 6 years ago. It is the pwm model and has a battery gauge.  Lots of power to push my 14' deep with 2 people. Has 5 fwd & 3 rev speeds. 10, 35, 50, 70 & 100% for fwd & 10, 70 & 100% in rev. I'm happy with it. I took it apart just after the 2 warranty to replace a bearing & reseal it, got a bit of water in it. Has a 2 yr exchange warranty that I just missed but it was an easy fix and I caught it in time. The poly carbonate mount is strong. I even took off one time and forgot to lift it out of the water. 18hp full throttle and about 20 seconds later it was in my lap, scared the **** out of me. Thought for sure it broke the mount, but it's still in one piece. Won't do that again.
