James01 223 Report post Posted May 4, 2018 My experience was much like JohnZ's last night at current river. We filled our bucket in 40 minutes, probably 50lbs of smelts. I never had a scoop without at least 2 or 3 smelt in it... the better scoops had 2 or 3 dozen.
