Did you try the money spot in that bay? I have some instructions from roger a few years back that lead to a hump where the whitefish seem to chill over the winter.

I know the exact spot you are talking about and no I did not try there I was less than 100yards from shore. Most fish were In 50ft. I’m starting not to trust navionics because the depths are so far off from what they are supposed to be in that area.

I got the chip for my helix now. Gonna try that in hopes that its better. Used my phone app there last year and it was wayy off Also. Phone app seems pretty off on most lakes. I suppose for some i have fished it gets u close ish...

You have to remember the the lakes are up a fair bit this year. Navionics is off about 2 feet. Went between Mutt Island and the Mission marsh late September. Reading almost 4 1/2' where the chart said 2'.

Hows Kama Bay? Is there a spot at either the jack pine river road entrance or near camp 81 with a snowbank to load/unload a sled?
