What is the depth of the ice?  Wondering if I need an auger extension? Looking to get out this week one last time.

Cheers

It ranged from 2-3 feet thick, no extension needed. A few spots had a slush layer under the top layer which will get soft this week. Most areas were solid though.

Ice was good yesterday top 2 inches were soft yesterday so no problem with sled. But quads wouldn’t be a problem. Was open water at mckeller point yesterday. Was a quad in between the points of cloud bay today.

Getting tough to get on and off the ice with ATVs at the boat launch with the soft ice around the dock. I wish they hadn't piled the snow right across the shoreline when they plowed the road. Of course the banks are getting lower every day though with the warm sun.
