Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming - WOW - what a ride!!!

Current still not open at the docks. Ice ledges along the side. Be careful walking on the rocks. Neebing has dropped a good foot in 6 days. See previous pics. A few steelheaders. Didn't see anything caught.

Current is open past the docks now. Farther up at Trowbridge Falls Campground still lots of ice along the river. Bears are out and walking along the river as well. At least I think their bear tracks.

I believe you are right. Makes more sense. I thought they were from a young bear. I hope my pics help members from wasting gas. I am out with the dog almost daily. Thanks.

Current is flowing pretty good now. McVicar Creek is higher and a little muddy. Doubt if any smelts will be running yet but it doesn't hurt to go practice your stroke.

Current river flowing fast, high and clean. McVicars still a little cloudy and not overly high.
