Best salmon fishing I’ve had on Nip River was after Grouse season opened. It’s all about temps.   Pulled 3 from the big lake today.

Thanks

Salmon fishing in Wawa was slow with many teams not boating a salmon

We only picked up one 7 lb salmon

There was half dozen between 13-18 lbs

The derby was well run and Brad Bucks team did a great job

the salmon seem to be slower coming in there as well

looking forward to next yr 😄

Went out by the dam on Sunday, saw 4 chinook break the surface but they weren't biting on anything. Left skunked along with the 4 other boats from what I noticed when I was there.

Went up for a look see. Plenty of boats, but didn't see much action. One gent said they caught two. Other than that there was very little movement on the river. Watch lots of Specs jumping, chasing flies on the surface, but that was pretty much it. It was however a nice day for a boat ride with my daughter, her first trip on the Nipigon River. She was more interested in the Eagles flying about. Maybe give it a go next week.

Did not see any. Mostly Specs thrashing about the surface. Generally, pretty quiet.

Was out Thursday evening and Friday morning. No bites for us and only saw 1 salmon break the surface, didn't see anyone else land one. Very slow.

Went to LTB this morning, started out nice. Marked a number of fish just off the bottom around 65 ft. Then the winds blew with gale force to turn it into a nasty morning. We did one small Coho, and one good smash, but that was all. One other boat managed to get one in before they too called it quits.

Yeah i was fishing from shore last week ill be going up again on Thursday you can wade in  just up from the boat launch also a rock hill that your able to cast from as its pretty flat right at the water so lots of area for your footing and i also found a spot about a kilometer before the boat lauch theres a clearing in the corner of the road where you can park on the grass and walk down the hill and tons of room to fish from  shore or wade into the only thing with that spot theres lots of signs of wolves being around
