I will be staying at Dog Lake resort at the beginning of August. We have found many walleye in the past, but the larger fish seem to be scarce. Anyone know how or where to target the larger Walleyes in this system in the August time frame? I know they are there but can't seem to find them in early August. I would also welcome any fishing reports to help the cause.

I have also not found where there are any smallmouth bass in Dog Lake. I would welcome any tips for them as well.

Finally, what is the primary forage source for the fish in Dog Lake. I have been told crayfish, but I have never seen a one.
