Great to tip with a worm, have a minnow net close by. Crayfish love them. Hmmmm next adventure boiling pot of water and some butter. I think be more fun and tastier than creek chub.

creek chub catch and release so far… think 12” before it’s worth cleaning them

Lots of Crayfish at whitefish, maybe that’s a weekend adventure

Just remember, it's illegal to transport crayfish overland in Ontario.  You can boil them up onsite, but you can't bring them home.

Fishog

When I was around 8 years old we used to fish McVicar Creek up by the old school. I have hooks that I need a magnifier glass to see at my age now.

Cheater glasses and magnifying glass. It’s a big deal having to re tie, you’ll know snags on the lake. How else you catch them small ones.

Either a herring or smelt, was hooked on my large husky jerk. Silver in color out on superior. Thought it was a seagull feather, when I went to remove it it wiggled because the old eyes aren’t what they use to be. Freaked me out....

Neat hahahaha

I was out at the tree farm dam couple shiners in there
