Update on exchanging trebles for singles

Just thought I might update a post from last year.  Changed out all my trolling spoons hooks from trebles to singles using Siwash hooks and found that it is a much more enjoyable experience.   Easier to get the hook out in the net or boat side.  Less prone to accidental cuts as well. Hookup rate was just as high as with trebles.  Got the fish back in the water within seconds.  Will never go back to trebles.

Singles are the way to go!

Back when my buds and I fished Superior, we all changed out trebles for single hooks. On spoons and J-13's, and whatever else we were trolling behind the boat. Our hook-ups improved, easy to remove from fish and nets.
