Well, lake nipigon lakers isn't even open yet (march 1st). Ice at jesse is sketch from my local reports so err on the side of caution.

That is fact about Lake Nipigon lakers, but the ling fishing is hot if one can find one of their preferred rock/gravel mounds that lead to deep water. Where there is whitefish there will be ling. Several shallow bays stack up with ling as they congregate for spawn.
