Hunting this Weekend

Well, I sure was able to get some exercise this weekend. My rifle appreciated the nice walk in the woods.

Saw lots of deer, bu most were skiddish and running before I could get some lead in the air. Did come across some nice scrapes and saw some real good does. Had a nice clean shot at a good doe, but you gotta remember to take the safety off. She near died of laughing too hard. Still ots of Americans in the bush so I guess I will have to go deeper to get off the beaten path.

My road is about 3 klm long and on my way home today I counted 6 deer. Maybe time to get the bow out and do some local harvesting.

Anyway hope all had a good weekend. I have attached a picture from my froont deck overlooking the Winnipeg River as the full moon was rising in the east.

Not a bad weekend on this end Bear missed out on a few deer but thats the way she goes I guess,Gonna let the traffic around my stand settle for a day or two then back at it.
