Guest events Report post Posted July 3, 2008 www.drydenchamber.ca Friday June 6th and Saturday June 7th The wind and rain didn't stop the anglers from venturing out on Friday. Many came in with good weights, even quite a few lunkers came into the weigh-in. On Saturday, the rain finally stopped but the wind continued. The anglers ventured out and many brought back their limits. The winner of the 2008 Tournament is Sandro Fragale, from Thunder Bay and Darrin Bohonis from Winnipeg. Big Fish and Top weight on Day 1 was caught by Sandro Fragale, from Thunder Bay, and Darrin Bohonis, from Winnipeg, weighing 9.14 lbs. Big Fish and Top weight on Day 2 was caught by Tom Schneider, from Ear Falls, and Aaron Marion, from Dryden, weighing in at 9.11 lbs. Top Mixed Team prize was given to Michael Cortens and Jane Cortens of Dryden. Small motor prize was given to Brant and Darryl Ledoux from Dryden. Adult and Youth was given to Dennis and Travis Wintle from Dryden. Mystery weight was given to Ed and Lisa Smith of Dryden. Low Weight overall was given to Ryan and Janet Martel from Dryden.
