Bill Arnott 2 Report post Posted December 4, 2006 Well after a long and highly unsuccessful year I finally connected yesterday on a nice bull. After over 200km walking logged on the GPS I got on some fresh sign yesterday morning and walked in on 2 mature bulls. Found a tree where they had done some thrashing so I worked it over with a dead limb then did a grunt call. The unlucky one came over to see whats up and I put him down. The second bull then moved into the same opening and I could have easily dropped him but said" see ya next year" and let him go. He then circled me and began beating up some bush about 30 yds away. My hunting partner heard him moving out as he walked in to the kill site. Will post a pic when it comes in. Moral of the story - never give up!
